BSI employs the most advanced machining and drilling systems that use air bearing spindles 125 krpm and 180 krpm.These spindles typically have run-out of less than 0.0003” compared to ball bearing systems which have a much higher run-out. These westwind (air bearing) spindles allow materials to be stacked higher while being drilled and machined with very tight tolerances.
